Catherine Labiran is an internationally-renowned African-American-British poet. Since the start of her career in 2010, Catherine has obtained a myriad of achievements: she won at SLAMbassadors UK, was named Poet Laureate of Larmer Tree Festival, and was selected as one of the prestigious 12 Poets for 2012 as part of the London Olympics celebrations. Catherine has performed at venues including the House of Commons, Bestival, and The Roundhouse. Outside of her creative achievements, Catherine founded non-profit organisation XII, providing 16-24 year olds with opportunities to succeed in writing and performance.
